There is so much tropey, genre expectation, and story structure discussion ahead! I hope you are as excited as I am to talk about how character, goal, motivation, and conflict pairs with tropes to create a powerful story. We're all writers here, so let's down and nerdy!
Warrior princesses, sarcastic sidekicks, and conniving antagonists are just a few of the story elements we'll look at.
We'll dive deep into how to deliver those reader expectations with twists that keep them turning the pages.

Because everyone has one:) so it rocks as a way to play armchair analyst with our characters. Heck, even if you're using the orphan trope, the lack of a mother causes great conflict, too. So, we'll talk about GMC, mothers, and how these critical relationship tropes help us boost story structure.

It's exciting work to see how tropes like found families interact with characters and conflict. Speaking of Found Families, I've created the 2nd of 5 trope-focused fantasy and science fiction videos exclusively for backers at the $60 level and above. These mini PowerPoint vids are about 15 minutes long. The purpose is to dig into how a specific trope is used in various fantasy and sci examples. And how to tie genre expectations into the story (they'll be delivered at fulfillment. ) I have a great time making these and I hope you love them! Do you want to know how to implement tropes in your stories? Do you want to know which tropes to use and how to twist them to create your unique worldbuilding?
